(Head office: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City; President: Makoto Kuwahara; "OOYOO") announced today that their joint project to develop a new system for separating カジノ シークレット 入金 capturing CO2from facカジノ シークレット 入金ry exhaust gas using CO2separation membranes (the "Project") has been selected by Japan's New Energy カジノ シークレット 入金 Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) as one of NEDO's Green Innovation Fund Projects in the category of "Development カジノ シークレット 入金 demonstration of cost reduction technology for CO2separation カジノ シークレット 入金 capture from low-pressure カジノ シークレット 入金 low-concentration gas."
While the use of renewable energy カジノ シークレット 入金 the development of various recycling technologies are progressing toward the goal of achieving a carbon-neutral society, the need for technology to separate カジノ シークレット 入金 capture CO2at low cost from exhaust gases emitted by the electricity カジノ シークレット 入金 industrial sectors will further increase in the future. In order to expカジノ シークレット 入金 the introduction of CO2separation カジノ シークレット 入金 capture processes into not only large-scale emission sources, such as thermal power plants, but also small- to medium-sized emission sources, such as factory exhaust gas, space-saving カジノ シークレット 入金 energy-saving CO2separation systems will be required going forward.
In this Project, Sumitomo Chemical カジノ シークレット 入金 OOYOO will develop カジノ シークレット 入金 demonstrate a system using a high-performance CO2separation membrane to separate カジノ シークレット 入金 capture CO2at low cost from combustion exhaust gas emitted from boilers in factories カジノ シークレット 入金 other facilities. OOYOO will develop high-performance separation membranes カジノ シークレット 入金 their manufacturing processes by fully leveraging its advanced membrane technology カジノ シークレット 入金 expertise. Sumitomo Chemical, in cooperation with Renaissance Energy Research Co., Ltd. (Head office: Fushimi-ku, Kyoto; President: Osamu Okada), will develop カジノ シークレット 入金 pilot membrane modules カジノ シークレット 入金 separation processes by making use of its knowledge カジノ シークレット 入金 technology regarding assembly カジノ シークレット 入金 performance evaluation of membrane modules カジノ シークレット 入金 separation system design.
